Schedule your intensive course for just before you leave for Spain, as that way all the knowledge will be fresh in your mind. Your tutor may set you "homework" - things to learn and practice before your next lesson to ensure that you remember the material.

Of the options available to you, I'd recommend a personal tutor - but the expense can be too much for some people. In this case, an online course will be a better option, as you pay one low price for the entire course, and can work through it as quickly as you want.
